Owners were really friendly and ensured we had a great evening. Food was excellent, good value and didn't have a wait. Good beer too. I really would like to visit again.

Good location, newly hosted with quality food. I have been eating here on and off for twenty or more years. First time it had no car park, just a lovely garden with a stream running past. Had good food then, but due to my bad memory, I looked for it many times with no success. Then on a chance visit, to a local woodcraft store (now deceased) the Fisherman's Arms became the Anglers Rest. Problem solved. Now under new and very enthusiastic management, the old walkers pub is starting a new and much improved life.

One of the best pubs I ever found - a real old fashioned atmosphere warm welcome and the food was simply outstanding 10 out of 10

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! Thank heavens! Now all the locals - and the Fishing Club - will be returning to make this the local pub it should have been. A big welcome to new owners Baz & Nikki from all the residents in Millers Dale and Litton Mill.

A fabulous little gem of a pub. Food is home cooked and fantastic. Staff are friendly and efficient. Sunday lunch was lovely.

Outstanding Sunday lunch consisting of 'triple roast' (beef, pork, chicken) with mash, roastie, parsnips, peas, leeks, carrots, cauliflower cheese, cabbage, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy enjoyed on the picnic tables by the river Wye outside the pub. Perfectly cooked, high quality and generous quantity too. Washed down with Chatsworth Gold and Pale Rider ales. New owners for 2017, this pub is returning to where it always should have been, right at the top of the Peak District pub ladder; tremendous value at £10.95.
